School Sewing Workshops
OUR SCHOOL SEWING WORKSHOPS WILL HAVE YOUR STUDENTS SEWING AND CREATING ON REAL SEWING MACHINES!
A full class workshops runs with a 2 hour workshop in the morning and a 2 hour workshop in the afternoon, each taking up to 16 children.
We spend the first 30 minutes getting to grips with a sewing machine - the children practice how to sew in a straight line, reverse and turn corners. They turn these stitches into a book mark that they can take home as a bonus project!
We then move onto working on their main project. Please see below for examples of what can be achieved. If you have a particular theme or topic in mind, get in touch as we will get back to you with some ideas.

The price for a full day workshop is £500*
This is for up to 32 children and is inclusive of all materials and VAT.
There will be 2 teachers for each session.
The children will share one sewing machine between 2.
The workshops are suitable for Year 3+
We will bring the sewing machines and everything else the children will need. The materials for the projects will be pre-cut in advance of the workshop and there will be plenty of choice for everyone.
The only thing we need is access to a room with tables, chairs and electrical sockets
*Price is for schools within a 20 mile radius of TN1. Outside of this radius is charged at £2/mile
