✂️ Able to sew on a sewing machine. You do not need to be hugely experienced but you should have completed some projects independently.
✂️ Experience working with children
✂️ Independent - you will be working alone once training is completed.
✂️ DBS checked (we can provide this but you must have a clear check).

✂️ Running at least one hour sewing club for children aged 7-11.
✂️ Preparing the resources ready for the next club (e.g. ensuring children are caught up)
✂️ Setting up the room ready for the club
✂️ One full day a term of sewing club preparations. This involves sewing up the projects for that term and is paid at £12/hour.

✂️A training program - you will be shadowing/assisting sewing clubs before leading them yourself. These training classes are paid at £12/hour.
✂️Paediatric first aid training and child protection training
✂️All resources and materials needed for the club.
✂️Pay is £30 per one hour club. This includes setting up/packing away time and any extra time you may need to spend to prepare for the next week's club.
✂️Pay for the prep day is £12 per hour and you will need to attend one of these per academic term.
